Franziska is an Austrian Chilean filmmaker and producer based in Scotland. She has built nearly a decade of experience across the UK screen industry, starting out in factual television, before moving into scripted drama on acclaimed productions such as Good Omens and The Buccaneers. Alongside her work assisting directors and producers on high end productions, she has also served as an executive assistant at the BAFTA-winning production company Synchronicity Films. She is currently working in post production, where she has coordinated on TIFF-selected films Glenrothan and California Schemin’, as well as Richard Gadd’s upcoming series Half Man.
Having built a thorough understanding of all stages of production, she is now producing work that reflects her love for bold and creative storytelling. A graduate of GMAC's Little Pictures 2023/2024 cohort, she's particularly interested in narratives around climate and social justice, and projects that put women, migrant and Indigenous voices at the centre.
